Giving Every Dog a Second Chance at Life
At Up Pup & Away, our mission is simple but powerful: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need — no matter where they come from.
We’re a government-approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Denver, CO, and licensed under Colorado’s Pet Animal Care Facilities Act (PACFA). Our work reaches beyond borders, partnering with shelters and rescue groups in Texas, New Mexico, southern Colorado, and China to bring dogs from unsafe situations into loving homes.
Each dog’s journey is unique — from the moment they’re rescued, through foster care and medical support, to the day they find their forever family. With the help of our volunteers, adopters, and supporters, we make sure every pup gets the second chance they deserve.
To date, we’ve helped more than 450 dogs find their happily ever after, transforming lives one rescue at a time. But our work doesn’t stop there — because for every dog saved, there’s another still waiting for hope, healing, and home.
